Job Description: As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our DevOps strategy, automating and streamlining our operations and processes, and working collaboratively with our development and IT teams to deploy and manage our Azure infrastructure. Your expertise will drive the adoption of best practices in continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code, and automation, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for a range of projects using Azure DevOps.
• Automate and improve development and release processes, ensuring that builds, tests, and deployments are automated, repeatable, and secure.
• Collaborate with software developers and IT professionals to ensure robust, scalable, and highly available services.
• Lead the development and enforcement of security and compliance standards in the cloud environment.
• Manage Azure environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
• Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient provisioning, deployment, and operations.
• Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve, providing detailed reports on the efficiency and scalability of cloud systems.
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability, developing and implementing solutions for improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation and technical specifications for planning and provisioning Azure infrastructure.
• Act as a senior consultant on Azure management, architecture, and deployment, providing guidance and direction to project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, management, and security best practices.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) and programming languages (C#, .NET, Python, or similar).
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights) and implementing strategies to ensure performance and reliability.
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards relevant to the industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of leading initiatives and sharing knowledge across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications in Azure and DevOps methodologies are highly desirable.
