Overview
We're seeking an experienced Program Control Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and compliance activities across complex government contracts (CPFF, FFP, and T&M). You'll work closely with program managers and senior leadership to drive budget forecasting, reporting, and earned value tracking—helping to ensure programs run on time, on budget, and within scope.
What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the primary finance liaison between PMs, corporate finance, and external stakeholders
Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses across active programs
Track project funding, burn rates, ceilings, and notify teams of potential risks or shortfalls
Prepare financial reports: EACs, ETCs, cash flows, cost/schedule performance
Monitor vendor/subcontractor invoices, accruals, and project financial health
Lead cost/schedule/performance analysis and risk reporting
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and internal controls
Assist with project start-up, ERP setup, and contract close-out
Support audits and DCAA/DCMA/internal data calls
Guide junior finance team members (if applicable)
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
7–10+ years in government contracting finance, program control, or analysis
Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and indirect rate structures
Experience with ERP tools like Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or SAP
Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
Familiarity with EVM practices and tools
Excellent communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams
Bonus Points For
Experience with TM1, Hyperion, or similar forecasting tools
PMP certification or project finance credentials
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
