Enterprise Data Management Program Manager
Hybrid in Richmond, VA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Manager to oversee Enterprise Data Management (EDM) program deliverables from initiation through completion. The role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of data-driven initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and technical skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and vendors in data and analytics environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Manager to oversee Enterprise Data Management (EDM) program deliverables from initiation through completion. The role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of data-driven initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and technical skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and vendors in data and analytics environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of enterprise data management program deliverables
- Develop and maintain realistic project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and track all dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure data solutions align with business needs
- Manage contractual deliverables and ensure alignment with strategic goals and business expectations
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure documentation of outcomes such as decisions, action items, risks, and issues
- Support the planning and implementation of data warehousing and reporting services
- Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization
- Identify and resolve complex data-related challenges and project roadblocks
- Ensure project artifacts, deliverables, and outcomes meet agreed-upon standards and timelines

- Experience leading enterprise data management programs and associated deliverables
- Ability to build consensus, manage stakeholder expectations, and foster collaboration across teams
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with accountability for high-level business objectives
- Ability to link technical deliverables to strategic outcomes
- Proven track record in managing expectations and facilitating productive project meetings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Project
- Experience using Azure DevOps Board or similar tools for project management
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with agile tools and scheduling/communication platforms
- Technical writing experience for reporting and risk communication
- Understanding of data management, governance, data warehousing, and business intelligence
- Knowledge of databases, ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud platforms is a plus
- 7 to 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in data and analytics
- 5 or more years leading multi-disciplinary teams delivering data warehousing and BI solutions
- 5 or more years managing subcontractors and vendors to deliver agreed-upon solutions
- PMP Certification
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
