About the Role
This role manages multiple concurrent projects end to end—planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure objectives are met on time and within funding parameters. You will lead projects from initiation through close, provide regular status to Executive Sponsors, and translate business needs into clear project plans by gathering, analyzing, and managing both business and technical inputs.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and construction-related vendors to lead full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, close) across multiple concurrent efforts using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches. Also, building and maintaining project artifacts: charters, WBS, schedules, budgets, resource plans, RAID logs, change requests, communications plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed schedules in Microsoft Project; track milestones, dependencies, critical path, and funding constraints.
- Provide clear, timely reporting and executive-ready updates; facilitate Steering Committee/Executive Sponsor reviews and decision-making.
- Coordinate requirements gathering with business and technical stakeholders; translate needs into scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage construction-related vendors and contracts (RFPs, SOWs, change orders, performance tracking); ensure onsite coordination, safety, and compliance.
- Oversee risk, issue, and change control processes; drive mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Partner with operational teams for smooth handoffs, readiness, and transition to steady state.
- Champion process improvements and adherence to PMO standards, templates, and governance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on project management experience, leading multiple projects simultaneously in client-facing, customer-oriented environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing construction-related vendors, contracts, timelines, and budgets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; moderate or greater proficiency with Microsoft Project required.
- Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience operating in hybrid delivery models.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills; able to influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Solid financial acumen for budget tracking, forecasting, and funding management; meticulous documentation and organizational skills.
- PMP/PgMP Certifications (Preferred)
- Experience with facilities or construction programs in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with PMO tools such as SharePoint, Project Online, Azure DevOps or Jira, and advanced Excel reporting.
